Activation BC_SETs version 1.8.1

The activation of the BC_SETs is mandatory together with the installation process of the version via software component. Without this activation, some functionalities of the product may not work. If version 1.7.5 was NOT previously installed, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of version 1.7.5: Activation BC_SETs version 1.7.5.

If version 1.7.6 was NOT previously installed, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of version 1.7.6: Activation BC_SETs version 1.7.6. If version 1.7.7 was NOT installed previously, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of version 1.7.7: Activation BC_SETs version 1.7.7. If version 1.7.8 was NOT installed previously, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of version 1.7.8: Activation BC_SETs version 1.7.8. If version 1.7.9 was NOT previously installed, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of version 1.7.9: Activation BC_SETs version 1.7.9. If version 1.7.9.1 was NOT installed previously, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of version 1.7.9: Activation BC_SETs version 1.7.9.1. If version 1.8.0 was NOT previously installed, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of version 1.7.9: Activation BC_SETs version 1.8.0. The BC_SET that is provided with version 1.8.1 is as follows:

  • /EDGE/SII_BC_SET_SP13_SIN_MDNT It is not necessary to activate it in each available client because the information it contains is independent of client.

  • /EDGE/SII_BC_SET_SP13_CON_MDNT It is necessary to activate it in each available client because the information it contains is client dependent.

To activate the BC_SET use transaction SCPR20. In this order:

  1. /EDGE/SII_BC_SET_SP13_SIN_MDNT.

  2. /EDGE/SII_BC_SET_SP13_CON_MDNT.

Before checking consistency in the first BC_SET, the entry /EDGE/SII_PRO_SR must be entered in the SCPRSTAM table, otherwise it will give an error.

Press the Consistency Check icon and verify that no error occurs.

Once the consistency has been checked, press the icon to activate it.

A Workbench transfer order will be requested.

We press OK as many times as necessary.

In this way the BC_SET would be activated.

Notes on activating each BC_SET

During the activation of BC_SET / EDGE / SII_BC_SET_SP13_SIN_MANDANT, a Workbench transfer order will be requested. To verify that it has been activated correctly, you must check that the following tables have been included in the transfer order:

BC_SETs are only activated in the development environment. For the custo to reach the rest of the environments, the transport orders generated when activating the BC_SETs under development will be transported.
