Installation Procedure release 1.8.0 via SOFTWARE COMPONENT

Two new support packages are released in this release:

SP12 for the TESII component → TESII_100_700_SP12.SAR
SP13 for component TESIICNC → TESIICNC_100_700_SP13.sar

These files can be downloaded from One Place portal release 1.8.0 in the Installations section - B+ SII, release 1.8.0:

Pre requirements

To have installed the component of Licenses: 1.1.2.1 Installation of License Component BPCORE (if not previously installed with version 1.7.4). It is enough to have the component installed to carry out the installation, it is not necessary to wait for the corresponding active licenses.
To install this release is necessary to have installed the TEAL Software Component up to SP2.

IMPORTANT: This component is new and it is released with this version. If it is not installed previously to components TESII and TESIICNC, installation of these will give error.

To install SP12 for TESII it is necessary to have the TESII Software Component installed up to SP11.
To install SP13 for TESIICNC it is necessary to have installed the TESIICNC Software Component up to SP12.

If these last two requirements are not met you have to load, in the installation queue, the SPs of both components that are missing until the SPs that are released in this version.

If this is the case, and you have to add SPs from previous versions to the installation queue, all the components and SPs needed from the first version of the SII to 1.7.8 can be downloaded from One Place version 1.7.8. The rest of SPs released in versions higher than 1.7.8, are in the versions in which they were released, so they can be downloaded from those versions of One Place.

Caution!

DO NOT PLACE TESII SP5 (version 1.7.4) and TESII TOP SPs TOGETHER IN THE INSTALLATION QUEUE. INSTALL SEPARATELY.

If for some reason, in the installation process, the higher TESII SP5 and SPs have been installed at the same time in the same SAINT transport queue, two errors may occur in the IMPORT_PROPER phase. To check which release of each component the system is in, you can consult the status by accessing it from "System" in the upper menu:

Installation Tasks

Install components as indicated in the pre requirements.
Installation of SP12 TESII and SP13 TESIICNC as follows:

Log in the system in English with the client 000.

SPAM transaction.

Upload the two files for the installation, SP12 for TESII and SP13 for TESIICNC. (If it is necessary to load the previous SPs as indicated in the pre requirements).

Once loaded, press

Then select the TESII component.

The pending SPs to instal will appear in green.

Press the green check and in the next pop up, press NO.

Press the release icon.

Select the installation in background.

If during this process the SPAU and SPDD appear, make the necessary adjustments.

Once the process is finished, click on the confirm queue icon.
