Activation of BC_SETs release 1.8.0

The activation of the BC_SETs is mandatory together with the installation process of the version via software component. Without this activation some product features may not work.

If release 1.7.5 was NOT previously installed, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of release 1.7.5: Activation of BC_SETs release 1.7.5.

If release 1.7.6 was NOT previously installed, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of release 1.7.6: Activation of BC_SETs release 1.7.6.

If release 1.7.7 was NOT previously installed, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of release 1.7.7: Activation BC_SETs version 1.7.7.

If release 1.7.8 was NOT previously installed, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of release 1.7.8: Activation BC_SETs version 1.7.8.

If release 1.7.9 was NOT previously installed, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of release 1.7.9: https://techedgespain.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BSE/pages/596640222.

If release 1.7.9.1 was NOT previously installed, you will need to activate the BC_SETs of release 1.7.9.1: https://techedgespain.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BSE/pages/1089405414.

The BC_SET that needs to be activated with version 1.8.0 is the following:

/EDGE/SII_BC_SET_SP12_CON_MDNT: It is necessary to activate it in each available client because the information it contains is client-dependent.

Activation of the BC_SET

To activate a BC_SET use transaction SCPR20. Enter the name of the BC_SET: /EDGE/SII_BC_SET_SP12_CON_MDNT.

Click on the icon Consistency Check and verify that no error occurs.

Once the consistency has been checked, click on the icon to activate it.

A customizing transport request will be requiered.

Press OK as many times as necessary.

This way the BC_SET would be activated.

After the activation is finished, a message may appear with information about the activation:

Ending with warnings

To view these warnings, click on the log icon:

The same warnings that were displayed when making the BC_SET consistency will appear.

Note: This BC_SET is dependent on the client, so they must be activated in all the clients available in the system.

To check that the BC_SET has been activated correctly, check that the customizing transport request has the following table in it:

BC_SETs are only activated in development environment. To get customizing arrive to all environments, should be transported all transport requests generated when BC_SETs were activated in development.
