4.2. SCAs via Telnet deploy.

4.2. SCAs via Telnet deploy.

To install the "b+TicketBAI" software on the Java stack of the SAP PI middleware, several files are provided in SCA format that must be deployed on the system.

We are going to perform the installation using the Telnet command, see information in note: 1715441

We will access the server where the SCA and SDA files are located, from where we will perform the installation.

We will launch the command telnet <hostname> 50008 this will connect us to the java part; and we will log in with the java administrator user provided by the client.

To install the SDA or SCA files we will use the deploy command, for example: deploy C:\myappApp1.sda, we can also use the command deploy <file> -all; this allows us to update the SCA or SDA module in case there is already one installed, this will be useful to make updates for example.

The name of the files can be modified without problems, but always and in any case, the complete path where the file is located must be specified.

VERY IMPORTANT:

For the installation of the SCA/SDA you have to follow a specific order:

  1. SC_COMMON_LIB

  2. SC_GEST_CERT

  3. SC_EFACTURE

  4. Any additional SC provided

This will be as follows:

Example of how to deploy with the -all parameter.

Note: To uninstall we would use the undeploy command.
