Procedure for installing a product version

This section details the procedure for installing a version using the standard SAP multi-off delivery procedure, through the Tile CTS activated for GIT.

Requirements

In order to begin installing a version, it is necessary to have previously completed the GIT-enabled CTS configuration task .

It will also be necessary to know the version that you want to import into the system; it is recommended to always install the latest version available. In this section you can view the list of available versions .

Procedure

To start the installation process you must access the previously configured repository, access the “Label” tab, locate the label (or tag) of the version you want to install and finally press the “activate label” button .

When you press the button, a message similar to this will appear (in this example version v.1.0.0 is being activated) and you must press the “Activate label” button.

Once the tag is activated, the screen will update indicating that the tag is activated. This will confirm that the Git installation process is complete.
