4.1 SCAs Vis JSPM Deploy

To perform the SCA Deploy, it is proposed to use the graphical drop down tool "JSPM" (although there are other alternatives in PI) whose startup scripts are located in the following server path:

  • “usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE_NAME>/j2ee/JSPM”.

The startup scripts are as follows:

  • go.bat for Windows environments

  • go.sh for Unix environments

 

The program requires to be executed with the user <sid>adm.

 

 

When executing the “Java Support Package Manager” startup script, the following window opens:

 

Then, a new window opens in which the password of the user with drop down permissions must be entered:

 

Once connected to the JSPM, a set of options appear from which you have access to various functionalities. To perform displays, you must select the tab identified as "New Software Component (advanced user only)" and which is highlighted in red in the following image:

 

Select the software component SC_COMMON_LIB and click on the Next button.

 

Once the deployment is complete, the following summary screen will appear. It is required that the Status is "DEPLOYED" and no problems occurred during the deployment:

Finally, press Exit to finish the installation.

 

Repeat the process with the rest of the SCAs in the following order:

  • SC_COMMON_LIB

  • SC_GEST_CERT

  • SC_EFACTURE

  • Any other additional SC provided
