It is necessary to import the adapter metadata in ERS to make the new adapter available in the channels configuration list box.

Since the data of the software component has been previously loaded in SLD no need to import it in ESR from SLD, just to import the file “XI7_1_EDGE_PI_SFTP_2.1_of_techedgegroup.com.tpz” contained in the CD so the hierarchy with the necessary metadata objects will be created automatically.

To do this, in the “Enterprise Service Builder” tool access to the “Tools” menu and click on “Import Design Objects” and then select the file mentioned above:

Once the process is complete, a pop-up with the following message will be shown:

If the above steps have been completed, a list/hierarchy of objects like the following should be shown:
