B+ SFTP Adapter

The SFTP “Resource Adapter” of Avvale is a connector that complies with the “Adapter Framework” architecture of SAP NW PI (AF). Therefore, is an enriched JCA 1.0 connector with the specific features of SAP AF.

This connector allows communication and file transfer in a safe way for servers:

• Explicit FTPS (over SSL/TLS)

• Implicit FTPS (over SSL/TLS)

• SFTP (over SSH)

It uses the own resources of the “Advanced Adapter Engine” (AAE) of SAP NW PI:

• It uses the “message auditing system” of the AAE to audit the processing of messages passing through the “resource adapter” sftp of Avvale.

• It uses the “tracing system of messages of the channels” so the messages can be monitored from “runtime workbench” (RWB).

• It uses the “traceability system” of the java application server of SAP NW PI to register the execution steps of the adapter classes.

It can be monitored with the monitoring tools of SAP NW PI.

Creation and configuration of channels for this connector are defined in the “Integration directory” of SAP.
