2.7.4. Testing services operation

The correct operation of the certificate management service and the batch processing service will then be checked.

It will also show an example of uploading a certificate, although it is important to note that consultant should under no circumstances upload a certificate for a client. They should only give customers instructions to make the climb themselves, without having at any time the consultant the certificate in their possession.

1-      Access the batch processing service and verify that it is active from our machine (NOT from the remote machine).

Access via browser to the following URL:

2-      Access the certificate management service and verify that the certificate management user can perform the login correctly.

3-     Insert the credentials that were created in the sections of generation of the script for PostgreSQL and to verify that it can be acceded correctly.

4-      Upload a certificate.
This step must be carried out by the customers themselves, it is included here for reference, but the implanters should not handle the certificates of the clients.

The certificate must be in .p12 format for upload. If it is in .pfx format it can be transformed into .p12 changed its extension and will work correctly.

  • To upload the certificate, click "Upload Certificate" at the bottom right.
  • An Alias must be typed, Email and Version are optional.
  • Browse our file system and upload the certificate from the directory you are in and write your "Certificate Password".
  • Press "Upload File", which will inform us if the process has finished correctly.
