After the installation of the operating system, additional steps are required to complete the installation of the system. These settings will have to be done with a root user.

1-      The server is registered in Red Hat to update it

2-      The lvm partition for swap is created:

3-      The /home partition is created to install in the user fuseadmin, all the configuration needed for the SII

4-      Partitions created from /swap and /home are recorded in /etc/fstab

Contents of /etc/fstab

5-      The user fuseadmin is created, for the installation of Tomcat and Fuse 6.3

6-      The user fuseadmin is added to the wheel group to have root permissions (exclusively for the installation)

7-      The installation of vm-tools is checked

8-  Swap partition is enabled and checked

9-  In the rest of manual, we will always use the user fuseadmin

10-  Preparing Fuse Configuration Files
We will need a series of files for the project that will come in a compressed file called release.tar.gz that we download and extract in the ~/ Downloads/ folder.

We can do the extraction with:
cd ~/Downloads/
tar xvzf release.tar.gz
