Activation of BC_SETs release 1.7.6

If version 1.7.5 was NOT previously installed, and the installation of version 1.7.6 is being done from version 1.7.4, it is necessary to activate the BC_SETs of version 1.7.5: Activation of BC_SETs release 1.7.5.

he BC_SETs that need to be activated with version 1.7.6 are the following:

• /EDGE/SIICNC_BC_SET_SP7_CON_MDNT: It is necessary to activate it in each available client because the information it contains is dependent on the client. The BC_SETs that must be activated for this version are the following:
• /EDGE/SII_BC_SET_SP7_SIN_MDNT: It is only necessary to activate it in a client since its tables do not depend on a client.
• /EDGE/SII_BC_SET_SP7_CON_MDNT: It is necessary to activate it in each available client because the information it contains is client-dependent.

Before activating them, you need to set the SCPRSTAM table. This table is client-independent so it does not matter in which client to set it. It is only set for one client.

To configure this table go to transaction SM30→Actualizar→ New Entries.

In this table you have to enter entries for the following tables:

/EDGE/SII_MIDDLE
/EDGE/SII_INTERM
/EDGE/SIITINTERM

Activation example for a BC_SET

To activate a BC_SET use transaction SCPR20. Enter the name of the BC_SET: /EDGE/SIICNC_BC_SET_SP7_CON_MDNT.

Click on the iconConsistency Check and verify that no error occurs.

Once the consistency has been checked, click on the iconto activate it.

Press OK as many times as necessary.

In this way the BC_SET would be activated.

It may be that after the activation is finished, a message appears with information about the activation:

Ending with warnings

To view these warnings, click on the log icon:

The same warnings will appear that were displayed when the BC_SET consistency was made.

Note: This process must be repeated for each BC_SET you want to activate. Bear in mind that some of them are dependent on the client, so they must be activated in all the clients that apply.

Notes on the activation of each BC_SET

/EDGE/SIICNC_BC_SET_SP7_CON_MDNT

During BC_SET /EDGE/SIICNC_BC_SET_SP7_CON_MDNT activation, a workbench transfer order will be requested. 

To check that it has been successfully activated, you should check that the following tables appear in the generated transfer order:

• /EDGE/SII_INTERM

/EDGE/SII_BC_SET_SP7_CON_MDNT

During BC_SET /EDGE/SII_BC_SET_SP7_CON_MANDANT activation, a customizing transfer order will be requested. 

To check that it has been successfully activated, you should check that the following table appears in the generated transfer order:

• /EDGE/SII_ERRCOD

This BC_SET is client-dependent, so it must be activated in all available clients. It may be that an order is generated for each activation. To be transported to the rest of the environments, this order must be imported into each available client in the rest of the environments.
