Installation procedure 1.7.8 FI-CA

CAUTION!

This installation is exclusively for customers with the FI-CA module.

Installation Files:
To proceed to install this release by commands, you need to download the following commands from the customer portal:

Workbench order OSDK903419, this order is from Workbench so you only need to install it in a single client.

This order is available on the customer portal in the Installations section - B+ SII, release 1.7.8.

Also, if you had NOT previously installed FICA release 1.7.4 on your system, you must install the customizing command from 1.7.4:

Customizing order OSDK902203, this order is custo order so it is necessary to install it in all available work clients.

This order can be downloaded from the customer portal in the release 1.7.4 section:

Also, if you had NOT previously installed FICA release 1.7.7 on your system, you must install the customizing command from 1.7.7:

Customizing order OSDK903030, this order is a custo order and therefore needs to be installed in all available work clients.

Prerequisites

To be able to install this new release, it is necessary to be at least in product release 1.7.8 (ECC), either by orders or by software component:

In the IS-U part it is necessary to be at least in release 1.7.0 FI-CA.

This FI-CArelease 1.7.8 includes all ISU releases since release 1.7.0.

Installation Tasks

This release consists of the following commands (per installation order):

Order OSDK903419 B+ SII ISU - Release 1.7.8 WORKBENCH
Order OSDK902203 B+ SII ISU - Release 1.7.4 CUSTO (To be installed only if release 1.7.4 was not previously installed)
Order OSDK903030 B+ SII ISU - Release 1.7.7 CUSTO (To be installed only if release 1.7.7 was not previously installed)

The first order is the Workbench part of release 1.7.8 FI-CA where corrections of incidents and new established developments are included.

This order is a transport of copies whose content is workbench only. It is therefore only necessary to install this order once in a client.

The second and third orders are Custo orders that contain only customizing content. These orders include new customizing necessary for the correct functioning of the solved incidents and new developments. This customizing is client dependent. For this reason it is necessary to install this command in ALL the clients that are available.
