Possible problems Upgrading systems with b+ Add-Ons

When upgrading systems with b+ Add-Ons installed (TESII, TESICNC, TEFC, BPCORE…) during the SUM phase some issues may arise.

Add-On Selection

Current phase: PREP_EXTENSION/IS_SELECT

In this phase you need to keep the version of the Add-Ons that you have installed in your system. Sometimes, it does not allow you to do that because de components of the target system change and the attributes for these components are not permitted anymore.

In SAP Note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1324996 is explained that when this happens an ACP file needs to be loaded to the SAINT t-code and continue with the SUM.

So this, you need to download (form our b+ client portal) the ACP for the component that you need and load it to the SUM. After that reset the SUM and the problem should be solved.

The ACPs availables are:

  • ACP para TEFC → ACP_TEFC_S4.SAR

  • ACP para TESII → ACP_TESII_S4CORE103.SAR

These ACPs can be downloaded from the following link:

Componentes SAP S4/Hana

If this process does not work, please to contact to the product support through the email: es-bplussiteadmin@techedgegroup.com

You will have to indicate the release and SP level of the next components for the target system:

  • SAP_BASIS

  • S4CORE → (If it exists)

  • SAP_APPL → (If it exists)

  • SAP_ABA → (If it exists)

Product team will create the proper ACP files needed so you can load them and continue with the upgrade.

CRT Conflict - TESII/TESICNC

Current phase: PREP_EXTENSION/CONFLICT_CHECK

The SUM will stop here and will show messages like these ones:

In this case you need to download transport request OSDK902777 (ConflictResolution.zip) . After that restart the SUM phase and check those errors do not appear again.

If you have any problem or questions you can contact to us through the email: es-bplussiteadmin@techedgegroup.com

It is recommended that you send us the CONFLCHK.LOG and SPDA_CONFLCHK.LOG files by e-mail.
