Speed Stars Game Review
Speed Stars is a rhythm-based sprinting game that combines physics, timing, and reflex control. Players simulate running by tapping or pressing keys alternately to match the pace and maintain top speed throughout the race. It’s easy to pick up but challenging to master.
Developed by Luke Doukakis, the speed stars was first released on December 16, 2020 on Steam. There’s also a browser version available, making it accessible without needing to install anything.
Gameplay Mechanics
Core Concept
Each alternating tap or key press simulates a step: left-right-left to represent your runner’s legs.
Pressing too fast, too slowly, or off rhythm will cause your runner to stumble or lose speed.
It’s not about mashing keys quickly — the key to success lies in consistent rhythm and timing.
