Transaction /EDGE/FC_SPRO → Configuration folder "Channels".

These input channels are used when it is known in advance what Business Unit is required for the information that is arriving.

The output channels are used to send information to external systems; however, these are not widely used and are optionally created, since it is possible that in the entire flow there is no need to send information externally.

The following is the series of columns that must be configured for each channel:

  • Channel

Corresponds to the unique identification of the channel.

  • Channel name

Corresponds to the name that you want to give the channel.

  • Dir. Canal

Corresponds to the channel address, if it is input or output. Channel type Corresponds to the type of channel. At this time, only two types of channels can be created, however, this has nothing to do with the Core Framework's processing logic; it is only used at an informative level

  • ABAP Class

ABAP class that implements the channel execution logic. This class must implement the interface / EDGE / IF_FC_CHANNEL. For the input channels, the EXECUTE_IN method must be implemented, and for the output channels, the EXECUTE_OUT method. Example of channel configuration:
